There is a time for everything and I can't seem to get the thought of cycles or patterns out of my mind.
I've heard of several people that have passed away this week and was thinking how do you balance "a time to mourn and a time to dance", on the same platform, being saddened yet in other places being happy?
We have the saying "history REPEATS itself", and "whatever is , has already been, and whatever will be, ALREADY IS. God repeats what has passed.(from Ecclesiastes 3)
I thought of a timeline, then I thought if something comes AROUND again then that would make our timeLINE a CIRCLE. If you join the ends of a line you have a CIRCLE, also a symbol for that which is ETERNAL.
Mourn...dance...mourn...dance...
Weep...laugh...weep...laugh...
Though there is a point in our earth time for everything, it ultimately exists in the eternal.
What we put out there is put on a circular track(like the top photo);
like reaping and sowing, what goes around comes around. We put so much attention on our EARTH(flesh time) "what's left" existence when God puts ETERNITY in our hearts, so we shouldn't have to struggle with the thoughts like; I should feel sad, I feel guilty to be happy, or I should feel glad...you can feel it all and have it all. You can weep one moment and be ecstatic the next...it's OK.
I think Jesus Christ gave us perfect examples of this, because his thinking was ETERNAL yet He fully lived in every moment. He savored life.
That's why he could jump from rejoicing at a dinner then cry over Jerusalem, then say at his LAST supper "with JOY I've longed to eat this passover with you".
Be filled with the mind of Christ, be filled with eternal thinking and ENJOY the life that God has given you. Don't worry about the days or length of your life, let God keep you occupied with the JOY in your heart! It's ALL good.

No one person was meant to know everything because then life wouldn't be
worth living. Plus, as humans, our mental capacity couldn't store all of
that info...

This is a comment I liked from a person known as "son of Zadok" on another blog, that I wanted to share here with you:

Hey Everybody!
That they would seek God, if perhaps they might grope for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us; for in Him we live and move and exist, as even some of your own poets have said, 'For we also are His children.'
Acts 17: 27-28 NAS
This verse stood out to me yesterday. The fact that God is so close to everyone, yet He seems invisible, because He wants mankind to have to search, to reach out, to seek after, so that they might find Him.
That's one crazy cosmic game of hide and go seek isn't it? Here's to us all getting our hearts and arms around God. Seek and we will find.
Father's Day 2009 means blessing "Abba Father" and ministering to him even if just in the vertical relationship I am grateful to my "heavenly father" for all he has bestgowed upon me knowing that He is perfecting everything that concerns me and that He is working alol things together for my good because I do Know him and I am intimate with the knowledge that I am exactly where I I am supposed to be.
There are man y "imperfect" natural things going on presently in my fleshly life but in Him, t here is perfection.
President Obama gave a really good speech on Friday, (2 days ago), talking to America about the importantce of being a good father. He spoke transperantly a nd openly about having a dad that was MIA and how that left a hole in his life althought He has obtained the nomination to the highest office in the free world.
As a Christian he can'[t speak kabout Father God, kI truly believe that Obama being the first African American president of the US is directly the result of God's will.
Yes, we need our fathers to be high prieest in our lives and to direct us and love us and train us however ultimately we can't exist without God the father, Abba Father, so today I bless the Lord and I can stand before an opoen heaven knowing that everything God comes from "daddy" and that all things are possible in HIM, through Him a nd because of HIM.
I have had many father figures in my life although my dad walked away at 2 years old. I actually believe that because hedid leave God as father is a very strong influence in my life.
I praise God for Bishop Swilley althoug he doesn't know me personally, I trul y love this man for all of the direction he has given my life spiritually. Bishop is a great example of a father being sold out for his kids as he totally gets the good man leaving an inheritance to his children's children.
A good earthly father does leaves good things to his children, good works and good memories. As adults we have to decide to look at thi ngs in accordance to the kingdom. The kingdom of God is as close as our hand, so therefore if there is someone in our lives who is not our biological father, we can still embrace that person as for his paternal quialities towards us.
Here's a shout out to all of the fathers, with all of good things as well as imperfections, thanks for hanging in there for your children.
Remember that children don't rmember what you had but instead how you made them feel.
Peace and blessings

Thank you Yvonne...its neat that you mentioned the name 'Abba' Father. I've been thinking so much of that lately, and when I first got in the car this morning and turned on the radio a song was on that was saying "God I lift You high, You are my Abba".
Everything does come down from the Father of lights!
When I look at my son Zachary, I know there are faults but what "I" see is my "wonderful little boy, to me he's perfect even though I know the things that need to be improved".
Yes, we do remember the moments together, how our dads made us "feel" more than the magnificence of any toy, at least that's my take.
