I recently pulled this off of yahoo about being happy.
This is just part of the article but it seems to tie in well with this blog, this particular point is about laughter.
(by:Dr. Maoshing Ni):
No one can live a long and healthy life without the will to go on; sometimes mood swings can make us feel that life is too much for us.
A bad mood not only gives you a gloomy outlook, it also lowers your immune function, leading the way to illness.
Here are some suggestions to lift your mood, your spirit, and your health.
1. A Laughing Matter"Laugh Therapy," pioneered by Norman Cousins, has turned out to have real substance. Research has discovered that laughter and joy boost immune functions, especially the production of the natural killer cells that help defend the body from illness and cancer.
Laughter also increases the release of endorphins - compounds that give you a sense of well-being - in your brain. Without a doubt, joyful people live longer and healthier lives. So read your favorite comics, watch your favorite comedies, and laugh it up!

okay, what jumped out at me was "joyful people live longer and healthier lives".

No one person was meant to know everything because then life wouldn't be
worth living. Plus, as humans, our mental capacity couldn't store all of
that info...

Great Message, Karl! We could all use some healthy doses of laughter to promote overall well-being. Your words of life and encouragement are appreciated. Thanks!
Scribe, thank you.
I have also seen wonderful words of life, blessings and encouragements that have poured out from your spirit to others...and you will continue to be a well-watered garden!
Keep coming back, I'm sure your words will speak to others who visit these pages!
You know this is absolutely true. When I'm feeling down-I know most of the time-but anyway if I think of something funny and if I laugh I do feel better. Like me I think of the things my grandmother used to say to make me feel better. Stuff like that works for me. You do feel better when you have a good laugh. Although in the end I'm going to regret it cuz I'm going to end up with expression lines that won't go away. There is a new word that Penelope and I leared yesterday in casillian that is called blogero. It does fit you cuz your blogs are the best. I like them. Thanks for posting them.
Interesting new word Everardo...blagero. Thanks.
Glad that you liked this article and that it helped you think of some funny things to help you feel better.
I've realized sometimes all it takes to get me over the hill of a bad attitude or depression is a good belly laugh sometimes, or watching a comedy.
I've also heard years ago a study that was done that showed that hospital patients who watched funny things on their TV got better much quicker!
God gave us laughter, I'm sure He wants us to use it.
